Monthly Archives: June 2012
I hope everyone is having a fabulous week so far. I have been struggling with a couple of issues with my blog and finally had one fixed. When I did the change from Blogger to WordPress, the RSS feed and Bloglovin were not updating. All it took was to contact the Bloglovin support to get that fixed. In addition with WordPress I have been getting a tons of comments spam. I have been able to decrease some of it but if you have any suggestions on how you deal with WordPress spam, please feel free to share. It will be greatly appreciated by myself and my hubby who has been burning the midnight oil on this. I thought WordPress was much better ???No? I hope this is one change that results in improvement, if not perfection 🙂
And on a more positive note, here is one of my work outfits (yes, we are that relaxed) from last week. Till next time, style it up!
Dress – TJMaxx or Marshalls

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Mine was very productive having fun, working on my blog and getting ready for a visit by my American family (my parents-in-law).
The outfit in this post is both luxurious in color and feel. It makes me feel like a little girl – fearless, confident and sweet. Sometimes we forget we were born this way and ready to take on the challenges that life has to offer us. As we get older we are forced by social circumstances to be fearful, to over-analyze events and to sacrifice our dreams as we struggle with everyday responsibilities. I have to admit I have also been molded by society in order to fit better. With this blog, I am trying to break this chain and not care about what people think, do what I enjoy and be a little girl again.
Dress – BCBG
Shoes and Belt – Ann Taylor
Sunglasses – Versace
Clutch – ASOS
The title for this post is from a quote by Joseph Heller, Something Happened, 1974 – “When I grow up I want to be a little boy”
Do you ever happen to enter into a store (not a department store) and spend all of your monthly outfit budget at once? That is what happened to me last week at the Ann Taylor store. I have never thought of myself as an Ann Taylor gal but there were two things happening: steals and color deals. I believe that Ann Taylor provides a great balance between a professional and off hours outfit.Unfortunately, I noticed that their shoe size selection online gets really limited when shoes are on sale and become available again as soon as prices are back to normal.
Skirt – Ann Taylor (recent)
Shoes – Ann Taylor (recent)
Top – Alexis Suitcase consignment
Jewelry – from Bulgaria
It 10:30pm on Sunday night. I am hunched over my laptop again. What should I write about? My thoughts are blank. What do I have left but to share with you my latest obsession? The roles have been reversed. It is no longer what would I wear with this dress. It is more what would I wear with these shoes.
