I took these photos few days ago and I have already lost some of the tone as I have not worked out in a week (getting over a cold). Anyways, this is not a fitness inspiration post; it is more fitness style inspiration post. I fell in love with this outfit when I saw it in the Nordstrom catalog and I had to have it. The condition was that I had to lose 5 lbs. I tend to keep workout outfits for years but I have decided to update my gym style as I achieve some fitness goals.
I have lost close to 25 lbs since I had Tory and 5 lbs from my pre-baby weight. The last 5 lbs have been the hardest. I have also noticed that my body have changed from having a baby. What I mean is that I have more ‘fat’ in my upper body than before so my body fat actually is distributed more evenly now. The mid-section is of course the hardest to get in shape now and it seems like I have lost my butt. It has slid down to the back of my legs. I am not complaining – these are just some observations, I am happy with my body and I will continue working out to stay healthy.
What I have been doing is the program by Kayla Itsines. I have been doing her workout program but not her diet program. I love the workouts – they are challenging and I love that they tell you exactly what you need to do – how many and how often. I am also very happy with the results specifically in the upper body – long, lean muscles with definition. I have to say that my legs and butt are not seeing as good of results. There is an improvement but I like to see more.
I will be going on a 3-week vacation so when I come back I have to decide what I would do next. I am kind of looking forward to it.
