My initial reaction to owning a tulle dress was not very positive as I was not sure how to style it. Wear it by itself once, maybe twice, for specific events. However, as I lost some weight and I was building up my closet once again, I had to be more creative with the pieces I owned. After successfully styling this jacket with a girlie dress here, I decided to do it again with the tulle dress. It was like styling two neutral pieces – match made in heaven. The blue accents in both the jacket and the dress created a nice bond. Having the jacket tied in the back also helped with creating a more tailored silhouette. I think I will be wearing it like that all the time going forward. The square, boxy, shift-dress look is not for me (maybe once in a while). Let me know what you think?
Dress – Teodora B. – The dress fits slightly large. I think I could fit in size S although it will be too short for me. I take the ribbon belt out of the loops and adjust it exactly on my waist.
Jacket – Teodora B. – the jacket runs a little small. I wear size L as I have long torso and I would like the belt to be closer to my waist.
