3-Way Style : Leopard Print

DSC_0023 copy

Hello everyone,

Who knew that leopard print can be a staple and mixed in so many ways? Although it may not be featured in the latest trend reports, leopard print will be a part of my wardrobe for a while and I will be having fun with this Express top for as long as I can. Now looking at it, the latest look is my favorite. The ruffles give the top certain playfulness but the  magenta jeans make it stand out even more. What are some of your favorite ways to pair leopard print?

Beautiful Liar

This is an outfit I wore a couple of weeks ago with the girls on the town. We went to dance the night away at a local club called Tongue and Groove and we had a blast. They were playing hit after hit and we did not sit down for at least two hours. I don’t know about you, but I play loud dance music at home all the time and somehow while I do that I have a vivid image and feeling that I can dance like Beyonce or Shakira in Beautiful Liar. Unfortunately, I have been told that this is not the case. But a girl can dream, right?

Weekend Outfit

This past weekend we celebrated Nadia’s birthday. For the occasion, I wore this beautiful “embellished t-shirt dress”, although  I refuse to use the word t-shirt. It somehow makes it harder to justify spending money on anything that includes t-shirt in the name. With that said, I love it because it is the perfect day to evening dress. Also, I can already picture it with some color tights for the cooler weather. My hubby loves it too – just look at his grinning face on the last pic. Right, honey?

Mambo Jambo

“MAMBO. A little bit of this.  JAMBO.  A whole lotta that.” A little bit of live latin music, mohitos,  and summer Cuban ambiance. A whole lotta of delisions food, loving and pictures. When? Last Saturday. With whom? My better half. Where? Mambo Jambo – A Nuevo Latino Seafood Cafe.

This dress from Express has a smocked waist (under the belt) and is my new favorite.

Hot or Cold, Rain or Snow

I have been in the States for more than ten years now but there are some things I seem to keep doing the European way. For example, I love eating out – I mean, sitting outside regardless of the scorching heat,  the torrential rain or the freezing cold. And my sweet hubby is willing to endure all of it to make me happy:) When we sat at the table on the pictures below, we were looking forward to a beautiful though muggy evening when out of the blue it started raining in buckets. For about 20 minutes we were able to shield ourselves by lowering the table umbrellas until I decided my loyalty to sitting outside has reached its limit. My back was soaking wet and my new shoes were in danger….

Journey

“Success is a journey, not a destination – half the fun is getting there.” – Gita Bellin

I often wonder about the destination of my blog. Why am I doing it, where I am going with it? All I know right now is that I enjoy doing it and that is all I need to get motivation. Have you ever done something that had no direction but ended up becoming one of the most purposeful things in your life?
