Bird Print

Teodora B bird print color pairing

Are you already enjoying the best time of the year? Have you felt the warmth of the spring sun yet? Have you stopped to enjoy the beauty of blooming spring flowers? Have you seen or heard the flock of birds flying home? If not, you have the next best thing – a beautiful, vibrant bird print peplum top. The frilly peplum and whimsical print make it the perfect weekend staple. Yet, the structured look and parallel seam detailing make it office appropriate as well. The color combinations are unlimited. My favorite are cobalt blue, orange/coral and sea blue. What color would you pair it with?

It is one of the few remaining jackets that has a chain sewn into the hem ensuring the best shape…

It brings both functionality and glamor together…

It can can be all things to all outfits…

It is the Chanel jacket.

Mademoiselle Chanel had not missed to inspire me again this spring. I am set to prove the versatility and functionality of this beautiful, two-tone spring jacket. How would you sport it this season?

Designer B Michael

Teodoras Lookbook Designer B Michael2

Hello everyone,

This past weekend I had the opportunity to meet Designer B Michael in celebration of his B Michael America Red collection launch at Lenox Macy’s. He was very nice, easy to talk to and willing to chat about his collection. It was inspired by the striking ensembles the designer created in part for Whitney Houston in the movie “Sparkle.” I would classify the style of the collection as CCC – clean, classy and conservative. I would love to wear one of his pieces for work, a classy date or a Sunday brunch.

BIG 30th

Teodoras Lookbook Atlanta Style 1

Hello everyone,

This past weekend we celebrated my friend Nadia’s BIG 30th at a local restaurant called Serpas. If you ever get lost in Atlanta,  please make sure to try their Jumbo Sea Scallops or their challenging-at-first glance hamburger. The event was an amazing celebration of achievements, dreams, enjoying life, and appreciation of friends and family. It was also an occasion for all of us to look fabulous, especially for my girlfriends in their Karen Millen numbers.

I wanted to write something about most popular gifts for girlfriends but I realized that there is a wide range based on budget. It usually happens that my gift giving creative juices run dry  and I always project my desires on my friend’s presents. That is why they usually end up with clothes, shoes, jewelry, and fragrances. What is you fallback gift for girlfriends?

Meow, meow

Teodoras Lookbook animal print pencil skirt

I though I have expired all my options of styling this ASOS skirt until I saw the July issue of InStyle magazine. Their feature was on animal-print pants but there was no reason why I could not apply it to the more feminine version of that same pattern. Their idea was of styling it with a classic top that would first create a balance for an otherwise frisky print and second would make the outfit appropriate for any occasion. The simple, yet perfectly matching accessories, give a great finish to this style. Don’t you think?  Take the memory lane with a look at my other styling versions of the animal print pencil skirt.

Pastel Love

Teodoras Lookbook Pastel Colors 3

Hello sweeties,

The more I learn about fashion the more I understand that it is very challenging to stay up to date with the latest styles. While I am still contemplating what other skimpy outfit I can wear to make it more bearable in the heat, the magazines are featuring booties, leather, coats and other fall fashions. Provided the temperatures outside, it is hard for me to focus on FUR so I will talk about other favorable trend of mine this summer – pastel colors.

I think that pastel colors pair best with other pastels so my outfit is pastel from head to toe. Pastel denim is a wonderful substitute for white denim so now I clad my pastel pink jeans in all outfits I used to pair with white. I would wear this ensemble to brighten my work day as my office environment allows it but it will be great for the “Magic Mike” movie night I have been planning with my girlfriends. Have you seen it yet?

When I grow up I want to be a little girl

Teodoras Lookbook small pleats skirt

Hello everyone,

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Mine was very productive having fun, working on my blog and getting ready for a visit by my American family (my parents-in-law).

The outfit in this post is both luxurious in color and feel. It makes me feel like a little girl – fearless, confident and sweet. Sometimes we forget we were born this way and ready to take on the challenges that life has to offer us. As we get older we are forced by social circumstances to be fearful, to over-analyze events and to sacrifice our dreams as we struggle with everyday responsibilities.  I have to admit I have also been molded by society in order to fit better. With this blog, I am trying to break this chain and not care about what people think, do what I enjoy and be a little girl again.

Leopard skirt – Style #3

Hello my ladies,

Happy Thursday! As you may have already noticed, I try to style any new additions to my closet 3-ways.  Very often, it is not a challenge at all. However, there are some items that are not so easy to style and we just end up wearing them one time or in the same fashion over and over. These pieces end up in the back of our closet, unloved and uncared for. Now I make a conscious effort to style a piece at least 3-ways. And of course I have two ulterior reasons to do that as well – to justify the cost to my hubby and to have more outfits for my blog :) .

The leopard skirt from ASOS is made of polyester and although some may question its quality, it feels and looks quality to me. The material is used by ASOS for a lot of the items in their ASOS collection. It is perfect for pencil fit skirts and dresses due to the elastane in the material.

I hope you had the chance to enter my GIVAWAY. If not, you can find more information at the end of the post. Good Luck and till then, style it up!

Atlanta Fashion Bloggers

This past weekend I had the pleasure of meeting five wonderful ladies with the Atlanta Meetup group “Atlanta Fashion Bloggers”. We had wonderful time over lunch sharing experiences about blogging, shopping and entrepreneurship. Here is why I believe these ladies will be in my circle for a while:

1) They are all confident, driven and willing to take risks to be successful
2) They embrace challenges and enjoy learning new things
3) They love to travel and use every opportunity to do so
4) And last but not the least, they appreciate fashion, beauty and shopping deals

I look forward to our next meetup.

Another Chance to Make It Right

Don’t you feel like you just had your birthday all over again?

We get a second chance within twelve months to get on track with our resolutions which seem to be the same year after year for me. I don’t have to be successful with all 20 of them, maybe 3 or 4. Or maybe one. And it is:

FINISH WHAT I START

Yes, I know, not very specific, but I can start with small things such as going to bed at 10pm. If I finish what I start, I will naturally have the remaining 19 resolutions covered: work out 4 days/week, diets, weekly dates with the hubby, meditation, reading more, toastmastering, dancing and having fun, going to bed early, spending time with friends, be less sensitive, etc. etc. Imagine the side effects of getting things done such as confidence and faith. I have a clear picture in my head of what I want to be, so clear I can almost touch it. Most importantly, I have my hubby onboard so I have the support I need. This year I will be a member of winners’ club. Do you care to join me?
