She Knows the Ropes

Teodoras Lookbook Nautical Style 3

Hello everyone,

I may not know my way around the sea, but I am “getting to know the ropes” of nautical fashion. It makes you wonder what makes this style so timeless and classic. I think its association with vacation, sun, sea (freedom), yachts (class), simplicity…I became interested in it as I purchased this navy blue, beautifully-detailed  Silvian Heach jacket from Bulgaria. Over time I realized that I don’t have to always shoot for a complete nautical outfit but I can incorporate various, small sea elements within any outfit. What are some of the typical nautical elements you ask? Navy and white stripes (as in the outfits here and here) is a no brainer but other colors like red, yellow and green will work beautifully. Any accessories that incorporate ropes, chains, and anchors will perfectly express your nostalgia for the sea. Do you love the sea the way I do?

xoxo,
Teodora

Sex and the City in Atlanta!

We should have more of those with the girlfriends – mimosa and mohito weekends.
Sitting outside and soaking in the sun.
Somehow we managed to get free drinks but it is not because some Thor looking guy got them for us. Nothing so fancy and romantic!
But it was perfect the way it was!

LADY GAGA

I had so much fun during Lady Gaga’s concert on Monday in Atlanta. She puts on an amazing 3-hour non-stop show full of outlandish outfits and incomprehensible but fun monologues. I love dancing, so I really enjoy her music but her messages are not always clear to me :)

We could not bring cameras in so I did not try but I should have – I would have had so much more food for my blog if I did. I love watching people with creative outfits and even more the reaction of other people towards those outfits. Some of my girlfriends did their make up at MAC and I love their colors.

Here are some pics from the venue:
